If your website was built by Rimiv…

Yes! If you have a Rimiv-built website and have signed up for Website Support or eCommerce Support, you have full access to our team of support specialists, project managers, writers, designers, and developers to implement changes. Both Website Edits and Website Projects are included at no additional cost beyond your monthly fee.

We do have some rules in place to keep our operations running smoothly for everyone. Please see our Terms & Conditions for Support Services for more details.

If your website was NOT built by Rimiv…

We will make necessary changes on your website as per our standard and then you’ll have full access to our team of website support specialists to take care of any Website Edit requests you have.

Website Edits are any changes that can be carried out by our WordPress Support Specialists, in 60 minutes or less, without the need of additional copywriters, designers, or developers. Normally, this includes changes to your existing pages or content but can also include adding new content as long as it’s provided by you, e.g. adding a new blog post where you’ve sent in the ready-to-go copy and images.

Some examples of tasks that would be considered under website edits are:

  • Copywriting or editing tasks such as creating headlines, service pages, or proofreading content
  • Design work such as designing new page layouts, or creating mockups
  • Detailed site performance optimization
  • This also includes backend edits such as website setup, configuring and troubleshooting plugin settings where supported, and HTML/CSS adjustments.
All Website Edits are handled at no extra cost on our Website Support and eCommerce Support plans.

A Website Project is a larger request that requires customized copywriting, design or development work related to a single page on your website. For clients, Website Projects comes with additional fees, which will be quoted on a per-project basis.

The following items are considered under the scope of Website Projects:

  • A complete refresh of your entire website. This is considered a Website Build and is charged according to the scope of the build.
  • Very large or complex requests such as implementing eCommerce solutions, creating a jobs board, creating custom integrations for 3rd party tools, or creating a large customized new feature on your website may have an additional fee.
  • Customized blog articles. If you’d like assistance with writing blog articles, you can add-on Blog Writing services on a retainer plan.
  • Copywriting, design, and development unrelated to your website, such as brochures, ebooks, flyers, event banners, email templates, logos, developing software applications, or custom WordPress themes.
See our Terms & Conditions for Support Services for more information.

Projects & Builds

Yes, we can. The same team that handles your initial Website Build will be able to customize pages for promoting your products, services, events, or promotions.

YES! Rimiv has been building and supporting eStores using WooCommerce and Shopify; know more about about our ecommerce solution.

We can set up and help manage your store, but we recommend our eCommerce Support plan if eCommerce is your main business or if you need hands-on training for your store.

Yes, we help set up membership websites for our clients whose business models revolve around subscription-based services or membership plans with private content, member-only products, or discounts.

However, we do not manage administrative tasks for clients, such as following up with your members on failed payments, advising them on their benefits, or anything that requires us to interact with your eStore’s customers.
Yes, we can. For us, “eCommerce” includes a variety of different types of stores, so you can sell virtual and physical goods, offer subscriptions and memberships, sell tickets to events, and even complete real estate transactions. Our robust directory software allows us to display all kinds of information in compelling ways, such as real estate listings, coach and trainer bios, seminars and classes, and basically anything that requires a detailed description or profile.
Yes, we support directories and profiles for your team members, partners, affiliates, branches, or store locations.

Yes, we do. As part of our WordPress installation’s vast feature set, we offer multilingual functionality through a plugin called MultilingualPress. It allows us to set up websites that are identical to your English-language website in about 175 different languages. It allows users to switch between languages within one website and much more.

Please note that Rimiv does not offer translation services, and you must provide all the foreign language content for the website.

Our Design and Creative team will select the web fonts based on your branding, preferred tone, and the references you provide. The fonts are usually selected from Google Web Fonts, most of which are free and will display consistently across most browsers and operating systems.

However, if you’d like to use a font you’ve purchased, here are the font files for each font weight (boldness) you’d need to provide:

TrueType Fonts (TTF) OR OpenType Fonts (OTF)

PLUS

Web Open Font Format (WOFF) AND/OR Web Open Font Format (WOFF 2.0)

Please check the font license thoroughly before using, to make sure that you have the right to use it on your website. Some font licenses may only allow local computer use (i.e. limit the number of computers you can install the font on), restrict the number of domains it’s used on, or prohibit users from copying or sharing the files with others. Any violation of the font license agreement may result in large fines or the site getting taken down.

You can use your own images, stock images, or a combination of both. Whether Rimiv sources the images from our licensed provider or receives them from you, our design team will prepare them, so they are optimized for your website and brand.

If you are providing your own images, you must confirm that you have the ownership or licensing rights to the photos and accept full responsibility and liability for using these photos.

If you’d like to use images from your current website, we recommend checking with your current website provider about the terms and conditions before proceeding. Some website providers may technically own the images on your site (and do not allow you to copy and use them elsewhere) but some may give you full rights to the images.

Companies can and do search the web for unlicensed use of their copyrighted work. You are responsible for verifying that you have the correct permissions to use any content you send to us. If we receive an unauthorized usage notice from the copyright owner for content you’ve sent us, you’ll be liable to pay a fine that ranges from $100s to $1000s.

There are many types of content license agreements, each with different usage restrictions. Whether it’s a free stock image or a photo taken by a photographer you hired, we recommend checking the license or terms that govern the photo’s use and making sure that you understand the releases, copyright, and trademark of those images before you use them on your website to avoid possible violation.

Here are the types of images we do not recommend using on your website:

  • Editorial Use only images: This type of content doesn’t have any model or property releases, which means they can’t be used for commercial, promotional, advertorial, or endorsement purposes. This type of content is intended to be used in connection with newsworthy events or of general interest (for example, in textbooks, newspapers, or magazine articles).
  • Free stock images: Although most free stock image websites claim that their images can be used on commercial websites without having to ask for permission from image owners, most have limitations on how you can use them or what you can do to the photo. Some free stock images require source attribution when using them. Their terms can always change and users will have no way of knowing when the “free” terms are going to end, so it’s best to avoid using free stock images on your business websites.
  • Product images, partner/vendor logos, third-party trademarks: If you are an officially authorized reseller/partner/dealer, the parent company should provide you with the usage guidelines for product images, partner logos, or third-party trademarks. If the information is not available or if you are unsure, please check the terms and conditions with the official source before proceeding. You may need written permission from your partner company in some cases. Rimiv cannot download these kinds of images from any third-party websites unless we receive your written confirmation.
If you’re not sure you have the correct usage permission for the content you want to send us, we have great images, designers, and copywriters that you can use instead! We make sure that any content we source has the correct permissions to be used on your website and will take care of all the hard work for you.
Yes, you can. Just like the content for the homepage and service pages of your website, you can provide content for blog pages, too. (That said, Rimiv offers an additional blog writing service. Our Editorial department is staffed by experienced bloggers and editors who can write customized blog articles based on the information you provide us about your business.)

The time required for your Website Build depends on factors such as the amount of content your site requires, the complexity of the features required, and your team’s responsiveness during the project.

Yes! eCommerce is a fast-developing part of the business industry, not just retail but the economy as a whole. Small businesses like yours should choose to sell online as not just an increase in business revenue but a way to further connect with their potential customers and expand their brand name. With an eCommerce platform, you can reach customers easier and more customers means more sales. The costs of establishing an eCommerce business are comparatively quite low, but the return on investment can be substantial.
The key to managing a successful eCommerce business is to know your target audience. Give preference to their reviews, feedback and try to improve as per their suggestions. When customers realize that their choice and preference matter for your business, they feel good and stick to your brand. Apart from this, the value on-time delivery, customer service, and add-ons. These small things can help you to make your eCommerce business successful.
We are certified and experienced in working with the most popular eCommerce platforms WooCommerce (WordPress) and Shopify.
WooCommerce
Pros If you are already a WordPress user then Woocommerce could be a good option for you starting an online store. It’s a completely free platform with our own web host and it’s a plugin of WordPress and you can easily install and access that beginners can start with this tool and it needs less server support and can easily be customizable from the WordPress framework. WooCommerce is a free plugin for WordPress so one can simply install it and can ready to go. Some of the basic features might not be enough for everyone, so to take full advantage of its potential. WooCommerce is the most stable and it covers all extensions with a variety of features.
Cons WooCommerce provide limited functions if you want more functions or extensions then you will have to pay.
Shopify
Pros Shopify is also a good eCommerce software. It is an ideal platform if you’re a beginner. It has premium themes with SSL certificate with analytics system included PLUS Google Analytics integration.
Cons It covers a hosting feature with its own sub-domain for all plans and one can also add their own custom subdomain name. But due to its budget, pricing and cost, it’s turns out to be expensive solution which you expand your business. Shopify does not provide an open-source platform like WooCommerce.
Need to setup a company it can be a Proprietorship + Partnership, LLP or Pvt. Ltd. Take the GST no. Payment Gateway will require set of formalities to be fulfilled.
Yes if you currently start with WordPress you probably have to upgrade to Magento when you experience concurrency of approx. 3000 to 4000 users.
B2B and B2C both are appropriate for ecommerce business. It all depend on your purpose if you want to sell your products to other business then B2B is good option for you and if you want to sell your product direct to your customer then B2C ecommerce portal is better option for you.

Project task is divided into multiple milestones, and payments are done as and when the milestone is completed.

We also offer a monthly payment plan for 12 months only if you subscribe to our website support plan. In case if you plan to cancel the project within 12 months, you will lose your website

Marketing Services

Through our Google My Business management service, you will benefit from an amplified presence on Google, higher engagement on your listing, and increased website visits. We cannot promise leads as there are way too many factors involved in turning a visitor into a lead, but we are confident that our work will result in an increased interest for your business from local prospects and potential buyers.
Yes. One GMB listing is meant for one location. It requires specific optimization and a proper GMB strategy to make each GMB listing ranked. Multiple locations mean multiple GMB strategies are required. Therefore, one service is for one GMB listing.
Your ad budget will depend on your industry, competition, timeline, and goals. We help you display ads using Google Ads and social medai ads. It will be paid directly to respective platform (e.g. for Google Ads the amount will be paid to Google and for facebook Ads the amount will be paid to facebook) and won’t be invoiced by Rimiv. We recommend to start off with at least $1000/m. There is some flexibility around this so if you’d like to start with a smaller budget, just let us know.
Each month, we’ll send you a detailed report with information on your campaigns. You can also log into your Google Analytics, Google Ads or Facebook Ads account to view data on your campaign performance.
We create landing page for you if we think it will be beneficial for your campaigns.
There are just too many variables involved in driving leads, and an SEO campaign is just one of those variables. As such, we can’t make any guarantee about returns. That said, our goal is to drive qualified traffic and leads to your website, and we’ll ultimately judge the performance of your campaigns based on how much is spent on acquiring a new lead.
Building a successful Google Ads campaign takes time. By running a campaign for at least 3 months, we’ll have enough data to make the necessary adjustments and calculate an accurate ROI.
As opposed to a marketing strategy like pay-per-click (PPC) advertising that provides immediate returns, it can take SEO campaigns a while to see results. It typically takes 6 months to see organic traffic from SEO. That time is measured from the very start of your campaign.

While we’ve had much success pushing our clients up the ranks, the shifting nature of search algorithms doesn’t allow us to guarantee a top 10 ranking.

But we do vow to offer a solid SEO campaign built to elevate your overall search visibility and drive more organic traffic to your website.
At Rimiv, we strictly comply with Google’s Webmaster Guidelines with regard to SEO and link building. We focus on building websites that provide a good user experience. No shortcuts. No shady tactics. We study the search algorithm, and we treat it as a person.

Platform/Technical

Not by default, but you may request 30 day access to your hosting environment which we can grant upon request in certain circumstances. We’ll work with you to review the reason for the request, evaluate other options or alternatives, and make a decision on what level of access can be granted based on your requirements.
We recommend you send sensitive data, such as passwords, to us using a tool such as One-Time Secret.
Yes, we will guide you with step-to-step instruction on DNS change/update prior to activating your new website.

It is a simple technical step that ensures your domain name (which can be registered with GoDaddy, Domain.com, Bluehost, etc.) connects with our servers where your website is hosted.

Here is an overview of the update process:

  1. Generate a fresh staging site based on your live site

Some of these measures include:

  • Enabling HTTP security headers – available on all websites upon request
  • Akismet & reCAPTCHA spam protection – to protect your site against unwanted bot and spam entries
  • Custom WordPress login URL – reduces brute force attacks by hiding the login URL.
  • 30-day update cycles – keeping your website up-to-date is vital. We are starting to roll out 30-day updates across all our sites
  • And many more! – we have many more security features deployed such as server side protections, and on-site security fixes

Yes, you will get a staging site, which is a direct copy of your live site.

The staging site IS for Rimiv to run and test new updates and for you to review these updates. It can also be used for testing out new and existing plugins. All new plugins must be sent to Rimiv to test and install.

The staging site IS NOT for developing new layouts or pages. We won’t deploy the staging site to the live site, as this is likely to break the live site and lead to data loss.

Yes, we do full back of your website

This just includes website content such as page content, images, white papers, and blog posts, WordPress theme, plugins, database, and web code.

This service is free if you are on our Elementor platform.

We have just two limitations, on-disk space and site visits.

Disk Space

  • You get 30GB of disk space for your website. This is sufficient for 99% of all sites we host, with the average site size being 0.5GB.
  • Extra charge may occur per additional 10GB used. We also offer image optimization and media clean-up to help reduce the size of your site.

Visits

  • You get 100,000 visits per month.
  • Extra charge per additional 100,000 visits.

Benefit of hosting your website on a cloud server is that you can easily scale your service without impacting your hosting performance.

Keeping a watch on your hosting on-disk space and site visits is one of our task to monitor on regular basis.

If there is a need arises to scale the service, we will prior inform you and this will also impact your monthly price.
Your website will be hosted on Rimiv’s super-secure servers with support from our infrastructure partners Hostinger. It will live on our platform — not on your company’s servers or your domain provider’s servers — to ensure the highest level of availability.
We do not offer high availability (HA) hosting, but we do offer an SLA-backed 99.8% uptime guarantee. We can make this SLA, thanks to the flexibility of our container-based infrastructure, proactive load management by the Hostinger Engineering team, and the use of a best-in-class cloud provider.

No, for us to fully backed you up with our support, we prefer working on our server as we can ensure the security, speed and performance of your site on our server and also we will have full flexibility to perform our task to maintain your site.

Once you get on board with us, we will sign you up with our Hosting Support service and perfrom a free migration of your hosting website to our server.

If you want us to build website for you as a one time project and hand over to you, then in that case we will build the website on our platform and once it is completed, we will transfer the website to your hosting provider.
